The glass of the ONNIQ watch is coated with this anti-reflective coating. The glass could be treated from both sides, but the outside coating could wear of and make the glass splotchy. We want our watches to work, but also look good for a long time, so that is why we ended up coating only the inside of the glass.
Mineral glass, which is usually a common watch glass can take hits better.
ONNIQ leather strap is:
- Made in Finland
Onniq cowhide leather straps are handmade in Tampere Finland from Finnish cowhide leather. Our strap model is a two part and it is 22 mm wide.
Cowhide leather is one of the finest leather types due to its qualities. It is like silk, light, extremely soft, but also strong and durable.
The finishing touches have been made to be exquisite. The mark of handcraftsmanship comes forward in the details of the strap and every single strap is a unique product with its own marks with small stories about life in the forests of Finland. It is also coated with protective layer of beeswax to give a luxurious and natural feel and help protect the leather from moisture.
The Luster of Bronze Watches
The way bronze protects itslef from corrosion is beautiful.
By gradually forming a protective oxide layer, bronze can be even more corrosion resistant than even the best stainless steel options. This oxide layer gives our bronze watches the patina that is desired by many, and make bronze watches the only kind of watches that gets more beautiful as it ages.
Our optional bronze case is CNC-ed from a block of Aluminum Bronze, and carefully surface treated so we can achieve the best aesthetic result as the watch case ages.

Vietnam's culture has developed over the centuries from indigenous ancient Đông Sơn culture with wet rice agriculture as its economic base. Some elements of the national culture have Chinese origins, drawing on elements of Confucianism and Taoism in its traditional political system and philosophy. Vietnamese society is structured around làng (ancestral villages); all Vietnamese mark a common ancestral anniversary on the tenth day of the third lunar month. In recent centuries, the influences of Western cultures, most notably France and the United States, have become evident in Vietnam.
The traditional focuses of Vietnamese culture are humanity and harmony; family and community values are highly regarded. In the modern era, the cultural life of Vietnam has been deeply influenced by government-controlled media and cultural programs. For many decades, foreign cultural influences – especially those of Western origin – were shunned. However, since the 1990s, Vietnam has seen a greater exposure to Southeast Asian, European and American culture and media.
